The Case For Energetic Trauma Healing Therapy

Compared to conventional medical-model psychotherapy approaches, Energetic Trauma Healing Thrapy does indeed feel like moving ahead at the speed of light. This client-centered approach is a body-oriented system in which clients set a healing intention and then let spontaneous body movements direct their trauma healing. Since body movement is connected to every part of the human brain, their spontaneous movements, when followed wherever they lead, elicit hidden-buried trauma memories, feelings, emotions, and thoughts as well as more spontaneous movements that help them realize their healing intentions and thus move their Energetic Trauma Healing Therapy forward to a positive outcome.

Let me explain why using these Energetic Trauma Healing Protocols is like moving ahead at the speed of light. For me, it all started with the early mistakes I made with clients using the a medical-model of psychotherapy. This drove me to look for something better which eventually led me to develop these innovative client-centered Energetic Trauma Healing Protocols designed to help clients direct their therapy. Later, I was also inspired by the work of Duncan, Miller, & Sparks (2004), in their book, The Heroic Client: A Revolutionary Way To Improve Effectiveness Though Client-directed, Outcome Informed Therapy. They made the case for using a client-directed approach to psychotherapy as opposed to the medical-model with its reliance on the therapist-in-charge of directing the client’s trauma healing therapy. It presented a very compelling case for a client-directed approach to psychotherapy based on more than forty years of outcome research studies which showed that client-centered, client-directed psychotherapy is much more effective in producing positive outcomes for clients and therapists who engage in this approach than the medical-model.

In addition, the research that I and my colleagues have conducted on our Innovations In Healing Trauma Energetic Therapy approach also shows that our practice is very effective at producing positive outcomes for clients and therapists. For example, on a ten statement, Strongly Agree – Strongly Disagree rating scale, a random sample of former clients rated all ten statements with combined Strongly Agree rating of 73% (with the other 27% mostly giving them an Agree rating) and an 89.2% Strongly Agree rating that the Energetic Therapy made a real difference in the quality of their lives (with the other 10.8% mostly giving it an Agree rating). The other nine statements included ones such as, “It increased my personal sense of well being” (86% SA); it increased my awareness & acceptance of my body” (86.5% SA); ”it worked best for me compared to other therapy approaches” (75.7% SA): and, “it enhanced my other therapy work” (81.1%).
